Interview with Urb.Energy Project Coordinator in Baltic Sea Region Programme Newsletter

In the December issue 2012 of the BSR Programme newsletter an interview with the Urb.Energy project coordinator Britta Schmigotzki can be found.

In this interview she reflects on her experiences with the further development of the large housing estates in former socialist countries and the necessity to improve energy efficiency in the European housing stock and in urban neighbourhoods. The approaches and results of the Urb.Energy project are presented and discussed with a special focus on the planning instrument “Integrated Urban Development Concept (IUDC)”. Such concepts have been developed within Urb.Energy by the project partners for selected target areas.
