Improvement of Buildings and Energy Supply Infrastructure

In this WP, project partners aim at the conception and partly realisation of energy efficient refurbishment (EER) of buildings, including the renewal of the supply infrastructure in the urban target areas.

The conceptions and measures to be implemented shall consist of an optimised complex package of refurbishment measures and of new conceptions for the district heat energy supply, incl. local and district heating, combined heat and power and the use of renewable energy. Moreover, the involvement of the concerned stakeholders such as energy providers, municipality, owners and residents is intended.

The project partners being assigned for the WP-coordination team of WP4 are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Potsdam and the Riga City Council.
