Welcome to Urb.Energy – Energy Efficient and Integrated Urban Development Action

Urb.Energy is a European transnational cooperation project part-financed by the European Union within the framework of the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007 – 2013. The project Urb.Energy started in January 2009 and has a duration of three years.

Urb.Energy builds on the results of the BSR Interreg III B project BEEN - Baltic Energy Efficiency Network for the Building Stock. It combines the approach of energy efficient refurbishment of residential buildings with integrated urban development concepts, the modernisation of the energy supply infrastructure, the revaluation of the residential environment and the identification of innovative financing instruments.

This website is intended to keep project partners, experts and everyone interested in the project informed on its background, targets, ongoing activities and achieved results.
